Paul Charles Smith reviews The Life of Polycrates and Other Stories for Antiquated Children at Empty Your Heart of Its Mortal Dream. (He seems to like long names too!)
Here is a quote:
“Versatile and original, and certainly deserving to be wider read, highly recommended and a great example of the quality of the material chosen by Chomu.”
The previous two reviews of this, though mostly positive, sort of worried me as they talked a lot about how dark the book was, which actually surprised me somewhat. Paul however seems to have clicked a bit more with the humorous side of it all, which is a little closer to the way I intended some of these things to be. Not that intentions really matter to the reader (nor should they), but it is nice that at least some people can chuckle.
